Below are examples of Rotary Clubs around the UK raising money for Children in Need!
Rotary Clubs of Misbourne Matins and Marlow Thames - collecting at schools and Heathrow Airport.
On 15th November 2013, over 150 Rotarians from 25 clubs in the South East of England descended on Terminals 1 and 5, Heathrow airport to collect money for BBC Children in Need.
They were successful, collecting over £17,000. Add that to their collections at local schools and the grand total for 2013 was £21,500.
In 2014, they will be at Heathrow on 14th November from 6am until 8pm, collecting from the public who use the airport that day.

Rotary Club of West Fife - Ultimate Quiz
On 15th November 2013, the eighth annual Ultimate Quiz held in the Kingdom Suite at East End Park attracted 21 teams. A great night was enjoyed by all. Defending champions Top Cats from Thomson Cooper successfully held off the challenge from Silver Foxes and the Vixen. Circle of Comfort came third. The prize for the team raising the most money went to Campion Crocks. Strictly Songtime Youth Singers concert called Performing for Pudsey involving 15 of Anne Diack's pupils in October raised in excess of £1300. This was added to the other funds raised and a total of £4,000 was donated to BBC Children in Need.

On 13th July 2013, citizens young and old, both able-bodied and those with disabilities, with wheelchairs, with pushchairs clocked up 9,637 laps of Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton and with support from Wolverhampton City Council and Express & Star.
They managed to raise £3,656.75 for BBC Children in Need, a fantastic amount!

Rotary Club of Southport Links - Collection at Tesco Kew.
On Friday 15th November 2013 and Saturday 16th November 2013, members of The Rotary Club of Southport Links collected at Tesco Kew for this years Children in Need appeal, ably assisted by members of the local Interact Clubs.
They raised £3,216.57 for BBC Children in Need! President of the Rotary Club of Southport Links, Bill Thomas and Fund Raising Chair, Kevin Allatt, praised Interact members from KGV and Greenbank schools, who entertained staff and customers with some very slick dance routines, not easy when in a full hot Pudsey Bear costume, and also thanked the management of Tesco for allowing the collection to go ahead in their store.

The Edward Marsh Centre in Kinver was filled to capacity on Friday 22nd November 2013 with 42 teams of four taking part in the quiz. BBC’s “Voice of the Balls” Alan Dedicoat has hosted the quiz for the past 13 years. Clive Corbett, a Kinver Rotarian who is Head Teacher at Pershore High School, gave a cheque for £1,500 raised by the students. Julia Roseblade, wife of past president Clive Roseblade, presented a cheque for almost £400 from the pupils at Goldthorne Park School in Wolverhampton where she is head teacher.
Their contributions boosted the final total for the evening to £3,153.
Rotarian Nick Geoghegan, President of Kinver Rotary Club, praised the input of Alan Dedicoat and thanked him for once again visiting Kinver at his own expense to stage “Our best-ever Children in Need Quiz.”

Over 50 beautifully decorated Giraffes descended on Horsham on 26th October 2013 and formed an Art and Competition Trail through the Town for 2 weeks. Thousands of people took the trail and entered the Competition to win one of 66 Prizes on offer with a Star Prize of a 42" Sony TV. Each Giraffe is raising money for a particular Charity.
The BBC featured the visit of Pudsey and the Giraffe Trail on a clip shown during the Children In Need Show on Friday 15th November.
They raised £2,500 for BBC Children in Need.
