GET INVOLVED WITH THE RICKSHAW CHALLENGE!

It’s that time of year again! The Rickshaw route has been sent my way and I am reaching out to volunteers to come along to the stop off points, cheer the young people and presenters on and collect donations for  BBC Children in Need!

First of all the Rickshaw team wanted me to say a massive thank you for the Rotary participation in previous years! Volunteers in the past have really helped to keep the crowd cheering and have raised brilliant amounts along the way.

We are looking for 6 volunteers to join us at each stop off. We cannot predict how big the crowds are going to be but we want volunteers to do what they can and have a good time. If they would like to bring friends along they are more than welcome to!

The following is not 100% confirmed, timings might be slightly earlier/later but finer details will be confirmed closer to the event:

9th Nov 18:30 – 19:30 Ashford Kent
10th Nov 18:30 – 20:00 Lingfield – East Sussex
11th Nov 18:30 – 20:00 TBC Hook (nr Fleet Hampshire)
12th Nov 18:30 – 19:30 Royal Wootton Bassett
13th Nov 18:30 – 19:30 Malvern
14th Nov 18:30 – 19:30 Ironbridge
15th Nov 18:30 – 19:30 Chester zoo (TBC)

On arrival, volunteers will be given collection buckets, we just ask them to wrap up warm, wear yellow (if they have it) and turn up with a smile!
